Andrew David Cohen

Andrew Cohen, Founder of M. Cohen Capital, brings a wealth of expertise and over a decade of experience in technology based Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Raising, Financial Modeling, Valuation, and Restructuring. While specializing in Technology and early-stage start-ups, he has worked in a host of industries such as Media and Entertainment, Consumer Retail, Healthcare, Real Estate, Aerospace & Defense, and Consumer Products.

Prior to forming M. Cohen Capital, Mr. Cohen honed his skills at Houlihan Lokey, where he played an important role in various sell-side and buy-side mandates across the technology spectrum. His areas of focus encompassed artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, semiconductors, wireless charging, cloud computing, Internet of Things, and other telecommunication technologies, to name a few. Mr. Cohen’s professional experience is enhanced by deep relationships with a host of financial sponsors and investment banking institutions such as YE Ventures and Tech+IP Capital/Tech+IP Advisory, including investing alongside funds and family offices in emerging growth companies across the software technology ecosystem. 

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Cohen is an avid world adventurer, continuously seeking fresh perspectives that enrich his multi-dimensional approach to personal and professional relationships. He graduated with Honors from UCLA, earning a B.A. in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting.
